Chaosmon: the chaotic miracle

hello and have a good morning/evening/night depending the time you may be reading this. this post will be something i`ve wanted to do from a long time and now i have the chance to do so, i will make a post of a very powerful yet very fragile digimon, you don`t know the name? the name is Chaosmon a very underrated and ignored digimon in the franchise. i hope that with my post he will get some popularity and more attention instead of being tagged as "a phony omegamon" or "a gayer Omegamon" and even "that weird digimo that looks like Omegamon" not any of that for me. Chaosmon deserves an own identity and to get out of the shadow of his look alike Omegamon. so let us begin!

Overview

first of all Chaosmon  is a name which comes from the greek KHAOS which means basically disorder or lack of order. is a mega Digimon level born throught the fusion of a DarkDramon and a BantyoLeomon(curiously this two digimon are enemies XD) which makes a very rare digimon that is very similar to another mega type Dna evolution mix: Omegamon. however, unlike Omegamon or any other DNA created digimon he is extremely unstable and is presumed to have a very very short life span. the concept of "unstable" has not been cleard out really to date, most people say he is unstable on a way he can die any time, other say his power is unmesurable and at the same time pathetic due for not controllling his power consistently yet still comes another theory that states thay his DNA digievolution was not completely succesful and instead of his materials to be turned into a single digicore he was created with two creating a double personality, probably this leads him to be an unstable individual emotionally and mentally. to be fair i won`t go with any theory since there is very little information to be really precise about this. still he being unstable perfectly fits his name and tittle. about his power is another debate, most people think he is stronger than a regular Omegamon due to have superior DNA materials, other say his "unstability" makes him rather inconsistent in battle and fairly weak, personally to try to be fair i don`t think the materials have a really important weight in the equation since going throught this logic Milleniummon should be weaker than Omegamon and we all know a Milleniummon wipes the floor with at least 10 Omegamons, so no the argument of:"his materials are better" is not valid here. the "unstable" part will not be touch due to the ambigueties in it. some cards state that Chaosmon`s personality is :"beyond good and evil" so he has no hatred, envy, compassion, sadness, joy, pride or any emotion at all. since he is a chaotic digimon his alignment is still unknown.

Apperance

Chaosmon`s apperance changes widely between his forms. in his "base" form he has the bantyo arm in his right arm which is basically the head of BantyoLeomon which is a sword and the darkdra arm in his left which is an arm that resemble DarkDramon and is a cannon. he has "ribbons" similar to those used by Rhodoknightmon and i really think they are blades he uses for combat. his legs are rather weird being similar to tissues. his face is a white mask with no eye color really visible due to the lack of images he has. in jis valdur form he has changed his Darkdra rm and turned it into the Valdur arm which is basically the head of Varudorumon. he also lost his ribbons and has gained angelical wings. in his ultimate form and by far the most grotesque one he has several limbs from many digimon and has two big yellow eyes, this form lacksa legs,head and even a complete body.

Chaosmon base form

this is the most well known Chaosmon and my favorite one. as you can see he is very similar to Omegamon. he has a loly ring if you can see closely and in his right shoulder he wields a sacred ring which is a characteristic of the holy digimon and in his left shoulder he has a black band which is a complete demostration of an evil digimon. this evidences demonstrate that Chaosmon just like Lucemon Chaos mode is another digimon that is between light and darkness. his moves are:

• Bantyo Blade : Dispatches an invincible decisive stroke from the BAN-TYO Blade.
• Dark Prominence: Fires off its own digital cells from the Gigastick Cannon.
• End of Paradox: throws shots from both light and darkness from his arms.

  Chaosmon is received through defeating him as an optional boss and then fulfilling Gaomon requirements to digivolve into him.

  Chaosmon can be obtained throught the DNA digievolution of Darkdramon and BantyoLeomon or BantyoLeomon and Valdurmon or Vldurmon and DarkDramon. the requirements are to be level 67 with 420 or more attack and have a total of 70000 exp points or more.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Chaosmon Valdur arm
  this is an alternate form of Chaosmon which instead of having the Darkdra arm and the gigastick cannon posesses the Valdur arm which grants his four angelical wings and the valdur arm. the differnce in power between the Valdur arm and the Darkdra arm are not yet defined but most people think that the Valdur arm is stronger due to Valdurmon being considered superior ro Darkdramon. this form of Chaosmon has benn created between the fusion of a BantyoLeomon and a Valdurmon. like his base form he is considered a bug and a mistake in the system. his moves are:
  
  

  • Haou Ryoudanken (覇王両断剣 ^? lit. "Tyrant Bisection Sword"): Dispatches an invincible decisive stroke from the BAN-TYO Blade.
  • Aurora Blaster: Fires a purifying shot of light from its Valdur Arm.

  believe it or not this blob of limbs and parts is the final and most powerful to date version of Chaosmon. unlike his predecesors who can have a body structure he has really no body system and is just amix of many parts that try to be dominant after the DNA evlution. he is a much much unstable form of Chaosmon and much bigger. due to being to date the only DNA evolution to use more than 2 materials with a total of four. here is the equation:
  BantyoLeomon + DarkDramon + Sleipmon + Valdurmon = UltimateChaosmon. witha total of four megas in it. he is supposed to be so powerful taht he can kill rookie-level digimon and below with his presence and makes champions scream in pain with his sole presence. i can`t really confirm if taht is true or not since in the manga he didn`t amd seems to be more a bloodlusted monster than a rational being.... his moves are:
  
  

  • Broken Destroy: Attacks with the might to easily crush even larger Digimon.
  • Ultima Burst: Releases the energy of its DigiCores all at once, then fires it at the opponent.

  UltimateChaosmon appeared in the digimon xros manga with some Megidramons and Argomons as a result in the separation of the essence of ZeedMilleniummon. he is ultimately defeated by Shoutmon X7 superior mode.

  it was a complete pleasure to make this. really Chaosmon deserves much more space in the franchise and is often underestimated and nderseen i hope that with this post someone can see how awesome Chaosmon is. with no more filler to add it was a pleasure. see you next time.
